Description:This is the famous and well-known Giant Fishtail Palm. It is a native of Borneo where it grows in mixed lowland forest. The thick single trunk is grey with prominent rings. Cultivation recommendations: A tropical lowland plant requiring high humidity and a minimum temperature of 20 C for good growth. Prefers rich but well-drained soil that is slightly acidic.
