Description: This rare giant fan palm is a native of Borneo where it grows in shady lowland rainforest. The wide leathery leaves are dark green above and pale beneath. The seeds are very large and heavy (250gms+) with a fibrous coating.

Plants require warm humid conditions and protection from wind. Best grown with moderate shading
