Description: This impressive palm is native to the forests of Borneo, Philippines, and Sulawesi. The leaflets are conspicuously wavy in shape and are white on their undersurface. This palm forms large clumps at maturity. Cultivation recommendations: A tropical lowland plant requiring high humidity and a minimum temperature of 20 C for good growth. Prefers rich but well-drained soil that is slightly acidic.
