Description: A widespread fan palm occuring in coastal areas of Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, and western Indonesia. It is a clumping species, eventually forming dense thickets up to 5 meters in height.
Cultivation recommendations:
Best grown in tropical or subtropical climates, but can tolerate indoor conditions. It tolerates open sunny locations as long as sufficient moisture is provided.
