Ptychosperma macarthurii (100 seeds) Description: This species originates in the moist forests of northern Australia and New Guinea but it is now cultivated widely throughout the tropics. It is a medium-sized clump-forming palm with a thick crown of pinnate leaves.
Cultivation recommendations: A tropical lowland plant requiring high humidity and a minimum temperature of 20 C for good growth. Prefers rich but well-drained soil that is slightly acidic.
