Iguanura palmuncula (3 seedlings) Description: A dwarf understory palm native to Sarawak and West Kalimantan. A number of varieties of this species have been recorded but most form small clumps and have trunks less than 2 meters in height. The leaves vary from being nearly entire to deeply segmented.
Cultivation recommendations:
A tropical lowland plant requiring high humidity, good shading, and a minimum temperature of 20 C for good growth. Prefers rich but well-drained soil that is slightly acidic.
