Licuala sarawakensis (5 seedlings) Description: This small fan palm is native to the damp shady forests of western Sarawak. The leathery dark green leaves are divided into 5-9 wedge-shaped segments. The plant never forms a trunk and maintains a compact size in cultivation.
Cultivation recommendations: A tropical lowland plant requiring high humidity, good shading, and a minimum temperature of 20 C for good growth. Prefers rich but well-drained soil that is slightly acidic.
